Muslim feast of Ramadan Bayram begins

President Rumen Radev extended greetings to Muslims in Bulgaria on the occasion of Ramadan Bayram, with wishes that during these days of forgiveness, generosity and reckoning, their homes be blessed with peace, health and happiness.

The ruling GERB party also extended greetings to Muslims in the country on the occasion of Ramadan Bayram with a declaration read out in parliament. The document reads that we should “respect differences and our traditions, whether we pray to God or to Allah and seek the truth in the Bible or in the Koran.”
