Deputy Prime Minister for Public Order and Security and Minister of Defence Krasimir Karakachanov has categorically denied rumours that there are airplanes secretly landing at Bulgarian airports, transporting illegal immigrants from European countries.
At the beginning of the weekly sitting of the Borissov 3 cabinet, Minister Karakachanov insisted that the rumours in question be investigated by the State Agency for National Security, and quoted data by the State Agency for Refugees, according to which the capacity of immigrant camps in the country is only 11 percent full.
PM Boyko Borissov also declared that Bulgaria has not assumed any commitment to admit immigrants, and as confirmation of this announced that traffickers transporting 26 migrants in two jeeps were detained today.
