Greek authorities investigate illegal arms trafficking with Bulgarian connection

The Greek competent authorities are investigating an illegal arms trafficking with a Bulgarian connection. Twenty pistols were found on a Greece-Bulgaria border checkpoint in a cargo vehicle with baby food coming from Bulgaria. An owner of arms shop on Crete Island is the consignee. The Police on Crete found during the operation a warehouse with weapons that are sufficient to arm a whole army, experts comment. The origin of some of the weapons is Bulgaria, the investigation shows.
