Trips of Bulgarians abroad and of foreign nationals to Bulgaria up

In June 2018 the number of trips of Bulgarian citizens abroad amounted to 667,300 or 9.4% more than the trips registered in June 2017. The trips of Bulgarian residents to Belgium increased with 35%, to Greece (20%), Italy (12.5%) and Spain (12.4%). In June 2018 a total of 1.55 million foreign nationals visited Bulgaria, which was 7% more as compared to June 2017. The number of visits of Czech nationals to Bulgaria increased with 87.8%. The number of trips made by Polish citizens in Bulgaria rose 61.2%. The trips of British citizens to Bulgaria saw 28.4% increase and the number of Hungarian citizens visiting Bulgaria increased with 27.7%.
