The Rector of the University of Veliko Tarnovo, Hristo Bondzholov, and the President of Macedonian International Slavic University Jordan Gjorcev have signed two additional agreements to their cooperation agreement of 2016.

One provides for joint training of students in uniform curricula and after approval by state institutions of Macedonia, while under the other agreement the International Slavic University would provide for the needs of Veliko Tarnovo University its material and educational facilities in the towns of Sveti Nikole and Bitola. If the project became implemented, Veliko Tarnovo University will become the first Bulgarian academic institution that has established a unit abroad.
