Before the start of the exercise, Rear Admiral Mitko Petev, commander of the Bulgarian Navy and Vice Admiral Lisa Franchetti, commander of the US Navy’s 6th Fleet, currently deployed in the Black Sea region, laid emphasis on the importance of synchronizing the work and interoperability of the naval forces of the two countries.
