Bulgaria wants firm date for start of OECD accession negotiations

At a meeting in New York with the Secretary General of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) Angel Gurría, Prime Minister Boyko Borissov stated that Bulgaria would press ahead with its preparation for OECD membership as quickly as possible, adding that he expected the country to be set a specific date for the start of accession negotiations without delay.

Angel Gurría expressed support for Bulgaria’s bid for membership of the OECD and welcomed the progress it has so far made in its preparation for accession negotiations.
