As of today, the Bulgarian chess players will be able to compete under the Bulgarian flag again, Minister Kralev announced.

The crisis in the Bulgarian chess started with an investigation against the Chairman of the Bulgarian Chess Federation Slivio Danailov. Later, the Bulgarian Chess Federation was excluded from FIDE.
