The introduction of training on anticorruption behavior in schools has been a topic of discussion at a special forum attended by representatives of various state institutions. The President of the Commission for Counteracting Corruption and the Withdrawal of Illegally Acquired Property Plamen Georgiev called for a change in mentality that "power position goes with the benefits." According to him, the process will cover one or two generations. In 10 or 20 years Bulgaria would have very serious results that would be visible to the whole society. According to Bulgarian Minister of Education Krassimir Valchev, anti-corruption education can be introduced both through extended and optional preparation as well as through links with other subjects.
