Greece’s Minister of Environment and Energy Giorgos Stathakis stated that the implementation of the Trans Adriatic Pipeline project, which is to deliver Azeri gas to Bulgaria, is going ahead at a vigorous pace.
The project has been declared a European priority. In Northern Greece, 90 percent of the construction of the transfer section has been completed, and the interconnection between Komotini and Stara Zagora is expected to be made operational in 2020.
