At a meeting with Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ekaterina Zaharieva at the White House, National Security Advisor Ambassador John Bolton praised Sofia’s efforts in support of stability and prosperity in the Western Balkans.
Ekaterina Zaharieva and John Bolton also discussed other issues of importance to Bulgaria, among which the diversification of energy supplies. Minister Zaharieva presented the government’s plans in this sphere and expressed gratitude for the US’ enduring commitment to the process of modernization of the Bulgarian army.
