The Bulgarian-Romanian Poseidon 2018 Navy Exercise is taking place in the Black Sea near Bourgas as of today until 17 November.
The aim of the exercise, which follows NATO standards, is to improve training of navy personnel for planning and conducting mine-clearing operations. The exercise involves ships form Romania, Greece, Germany, Spain and Turkey, as well as ships of the Standing NATO Mine Countermeasures Group 2 in the Mediterranean.
