The European Commission will invest nearly EUR 300 million from the Cohesion Fund in modern and faster railway connection between the cities Plovdiv and Burgas. Thus, the high-speed railway line along the TEN-T Orient/East-Med Corridor connecting Central and Southeast Europe will be completed.
