Foreign students of Bulgarian descent: We associate our future with Bulgaria

Bulgaria’s Vice President Iliana Yotova met with students from countries with Bulgarian diaspora at the South-West University of Blagoevgrad. Vice President Yotova discussed with them topical issues and the problems they meet, as well as opportunities for career development in Bulgaria. The most important question most of us ask is when we will receive Bulgarian citizenship. Many of us have been waiting for five or six years and we have not received Bulgarian passports yet, the students of Bulgarian descent from Macedonia, Serbia and Albania said and added that they associated their future professional career with Bulgaria. Nearly 2,000 foreign students of Bulgarian descent study in this country.
