On January 26 the musicians from D2 band will present in Sofia their latest song Mars and a video to it. Guitarist Dimitar Karnev who is among the founders of D2 told Radio Bulgaria details:

"The song itself is very melodic and somehow futuristic. I think that this had inspired the author of the song Rushi Vidinliev to write thematically relevant lyrics. He is one of my favorite Bulgarian artists and a talented writer of song lyrics. The lyrics of our previous single Egoist were also written by Rushi Vidinliev. I came up with the idea about this song in 2017. We are ready to shoot the video to this song last winter, but the weather deteriorated quickly. It was snowing a lot and we could not make the video in the mountains. We decided to wait, because we insisted to make the video at the National Astronomical Observatory Rozhen. We are very grateful to the team of the national observatory who helped us a lot."

Radina Filipova who is regarded as the “talisman” of the Bulgarian Rhythmic Gymnastics also participates at the video.

"Valeri Milev is a director of the video. We have been working with him for many years and he is a good friend. At the end of January we are planning to make a big concert at Sofia Live Club and perform our greatest hits there. At the end of the concert programme we are to present the new song Mars to the audience. We invited special guests for this event – Nia Petrova who won the latest edition of the Voice of Bulgari reality singing competition, as well as Bessarabian Bulgarian Lili Semkova who took part at the reality show The Farm. We are to make with her an interpretation of Izlel e Delio Haidutin song. I believe that the music program will be quite interesting and colorful and our music fans will like it a lot."
Later, D2 will begin their national tour which will cover nearly 20 Bulgarian towns. The concerts of the band’s national tour will be as impressive as the one in Bulgaria’s capital Sofia on January 26.
