European Commissioner for Digital Economy and Society Mariya Gabriel welcomed the readiness of the six countries from the Western Balkans to update in April this year the regional roaming agreement. This move will reduce roaming prices with the neighboring EU countries. The use of mobile phone when travelling to a neighboring country is a necessity. It is an engine of economic growth and promotes neighborly relations by facilitating communication between people, Commissioner Gabriel pointed out. Mariya Gabriel held a working meeting in Skopje with the Ministers of the six Western Balkan countries responsible for digitalization.
