Lockheed Martin, the fourth-generation F16 Block 70 manufacturer, has presented the jet and its capabilities in Plovdiv. According to the company, this is the latest and most advanced modification of the F16, as Block 70 is a completely new generation of combat equipment. The plane is easy to maintain and will be up to date at least until 2045, director of communications John Neilson said. Production technology of F16 Block 70 was compatible with that of F22 and F35, it was reported. If the governments of Bulgaria and the United States reached an agreement in the summer, the Bulgarian contract will start running in 2023, said James Robinson, a military pilot and international business development senior manager.
