Rosatom is ready to participate in any form in the construction of the Belene nuclear power plant, this company’s First Deputy Director General Kirill Komarov said. We are ready to participate as a consultant or company in charge of any equipment or activities related to the construction of this nuclear power plant. This facility can be built quicker than any other similar projects in Europe, Kirill Komarov commented. Bulgaria’s Minister of Energy Temenuzka Petkova has informed Rosatom that Sofia was ready to shift to a new pricing on the electricity market under European standards, which would give additional security to the potential investors in Belene NPP project.
