The number of political parties in Bulgaria continues to go down, the Chairman of the Bulgarian National Audit Office Tsvetan Tsvetkov announced. Since 2013 the number of political formations in this country fell from 177 to 128. In 2018 twelve political formations stopped existing. Six political parties have not filed declarations in the Bulgarian National Audit Office, which will make a proposal to the Prosecutor’s Office to ask the Sofia City Court to erase them from the public register of political parties.
