Series of events marking April Uprising anniversary in Bulgaria continue

Today, President of the Bulgarian National Assembly Tsveta Yancheva takes part in events marking solemnly the 143-rd anniversary of the April Uprising. Yancehav is in the historical area of Oborishte, where in 1876 a decision was taken for starting the April Uprising against the Ottoman rule. Honoring the heroes of the uprising started on Tuesday in Koprivshtitsa and Klisura. In Klisura, President Rumen Radev pointed out that the events 143 years ago recall the moral power and grandeur of a nation ready for sacrifice in the name of freedom and future generations.
