Within the frameworks of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum Bulgarian President Rumen Radev met with UN Secretary-General António Guterres.

The two agreed that climate change, the fight against terrorism and sustainable development require joint efforts and a common approach by the countries members of the world organization. They emphasized that the tendency of escalation of tensions in international relations, the withdrawal from crucial agreements in the sphere of disarmament and the intensification of the migratory flows cannot be overcome by unilateral actions by any individual country and that they must not lead to any erosion of the activities of the UN.
