Ambassador of USA to Sofia Eric Rubin awarded Stara Planina Order First Degree

Bulgaria’s President Rumen Radev awarded the Ambassador of the USA to Sofia Eric Rubin the Stara Planina Order First Degree. Bulgaria’s highest state order is conferred to Ambassador Rubin for his indisputable contribution to the development of the bilateral relations between Sofia and Washington, President Radev said. Ambassador Rubin updated the agenda of our bilateral relations. He brought new impulse into them, especially in the defense and security field, thus contributing to the modernization of the Bulgarian armed forces. Bulgaria and the USA deepened their bilateral economic relations thanks to Ambassador Rubin, President Rumen Radev said. Ambassador Rubin said that it will not be easy for him to leave this country, because he fell in love with it. I am leaving with the satisfaction that the work we have done so far will continue, Eric Rubin said.
