Georgia and Bulgaria can bridge East and West

Bulgaria fully supports the sovereignty and the territorial integrity of the Republic of Georgia, the Speaker of the Bulgarian National Assembly Tsveta Karayancheva said after the meeting with the Chairperson of Georgia’s Parliament Irakli Kobakhidze. Mr Kobakhidze heads a Parliamentary delegation which pays an official visit to Bulgaria. Tsveta Karayancheva underlined the role of Georgia as strategic partner of the European Union with regard to the security of the energy supplies and their diversification. Irakli Kobakhidze thanked his Bulgarian counterpart Karayancheva for Bulgaria’s support for Georgia’s EU and NATO accession bid. The two Black Sea countries can bridge the East and the West, Tsveta Karayancheva and Irakli Kobakhidze pointed out during the meeting.
