A mobile operator has launched Bulgaria's first 5G tower into operation. The cell will run until the end of the year in a test regime in the band of 3440 to 3540 MHz. We expect to start offering 5G services to our customers in 2020, the operator said. The new network provides very fast broadband mobile access, reliable communication with little delay and massive communication between machines.

The Bulgarian Communications Regulation Commission welcomes all efforts aimed at providing consumers in Bulgaria access to the latest technologies and encourages investment and competition, said Chairman of the commission, Ivan Dimitrov. Bulgaria is the 50th country in the world testing the new 5G network.
