11 countries participate in Vitosha International Folklore Festival

For the 23rd time, Sofia hosts the Vitosha International Folklore Festival. This year's cultural event includes musicians, dancers and singers from 11 countries, among them Mexico, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Peru, Japan, Bosnia and Herzegovina and others. The official opening is today, July 17, at 19.30 on the summer stage behind the National Palace of Culture. Concerts will take place in other parts of the Bulgarian capital city, too. Tomorrow evening the dance groups will pass through the central Vitosha boulevard, starting from St. Nedelya square and reaching the summer cinema of the National Palace of Culture. The music and dance forum continues until July 20th.
