The Bulgarian government has approved a plan for 2019 for the implementation of the updated National Demographic Development Strategy of the Bulgarian Population (2012-2030). Among the priorities of the document are slowing down the negative demographic processes and population decline, overcoming the negative consequences of aging population and limiting disproportions in its territorial distribution.
