More than one third of the country's industrial pig farms are concentrated in Rousse and Pleven regions. The police will organize the guarding of all entry-exit routes in settlements with registered outbreaks and will assist the sanitary authorities with information on the presence of pigs in the yards of farmers in villages. Strict control is in place on the production and use of fodder for pigs.
