Bulgaria could be shortest and most profitable route linking China and Europe

Bulgaria has been actively supporting the One Belt One Road Initiative and the 17 plus 1 cooperation initiative between China and the countries of Central and Eastern Europe, Bulgarian President Rumen Radev said. Today he met with representatives of Chinese companies involved in the implementation of the Belt and Road Initiative. We recognize that the most important factor for the development of these initiatives is the transport link between China and Europe, the President said and added that Bulgaria's strategic geographical position determines the shortest and most profitable route of this transport connection.
