Bulgaria has asked for offers for new ground forces combat vehicles

The Bulgarian Ministry of Defense has announced that it requested bids for the supply of combat vehicles needed by the ground forces. Four companies have been invited to participate in the project - ARTEC GmbH (Germany), Patria (Finland), NEXTER Group (France) and General Dynamics Land System - MOWAG (Switzerland). The project was approved by Parliament in 2018 and envisages the acquisition of 150 combat vehicles and special equipment for three battalion combat groups, as well as training of their staff. The estimated value of the project is 749 million euros.
