Rosatom has submitted application for selection procedure of Belene NPP investor

As part of the procedure for selecting a strategic investor in the Belene NPP project, announced on May 22, 2019, the Russian state corporation Rosatom has submitted an application for participation in the procedure within the established deadlines, it was reported. The application has been accepted by Natsionalna Elektricheska Kompania of Bulgaria, Rosatom said. The procedure for selecting a strategic investor in the Belene NPP project was published on 22 May 2019 in the Official Journal of the European Union. The deadline for completion of the procedure is 12 months from the date of publication.
