Fitch Ratings: Bulgaria may adopt Euro by 2023

Bulgaria may adopt the Euro until 2023, a report of Fitch Ratings reads. The document reminds that the procedure started in 2018 and by the end of 2019, it will become clear when Bulgaria will join the ERM2 mechanism, also known as the Eurozone’s waiting room. However, Fitch specifies that Bulgaria may join the Eurozone by 2023 only if it meets all criteria on its path to the single European currency, the Bulgarian National Television informs.
