Following the bankruptcy of Thomas Cook's subsidiaries in Germany, Austria and Poland, all of their 5,940 tourists, who have bookings in Bulgaria until October 13, will be able to leave the country and return home. The costs of their stay and transportation are covered by insurers. Insurer of Thomas Cook-Germany is Zurich Insurance, Tourism Minister Nikolina Angelkova announced. A hotline has been opened at the ministry so people affected can receive necessary information. The ministry has sent its representatives to hotels where there are tourists sent by the bankrupt companies. Based on their own decision, guests can interrupt their vacations or continue their stay, Minister Angelkova said.
