Bulgarian Attorney General Sotir Tsatsarov will be invited to a hearing on October 10 at the next session of the Interim Committee in Parliament, in order to examine the facts and circumstances over the interruption of BNR’s broadcasting of the Horizon central program on September 13 for 5 hours, as well as allegations of political pressure on BNR leadership and journalists.

This was decided by MPs at today's committee meeting. The Attorney General will provide details of the investigation and its results. After that, members of the Council for Electronic Media in Bulgaria, BNR Director General Svetoslav Kostov and radio journalists will be invited to hearings. The proposal to set up a temporary committee was made by the BSP.
