There is zero migration pressure at Bulgaria-Turkey border: Premier Boyko Borissov

Currently there is zero migration pressure from Turkey, Bulgaria’s Premier Boyko Borissov said on occasion of the ultimatum of Turkey’s President Erdogan that he may open the border and that 3.6 million migrants may enter the EU. The only person who crosses illegally the Bulagria-Turkey border yesterday was taken back to Turkey, Premier Borissov pointed out and insisted that the EU maintains its migrant agreement with Turkey the way it was written. Bulgaria’s Deputy Premier Krasimir Karakachanov who is in charge of the public order and security has assured that so far, the situation along the Bulgaria-Turkey border is normal, but over 2,000 military men can be deployed to the border to help this country’s Border Police, if necessary.
