Bulgaria’s cabinet allotted nearly EUR 1.5 million for activities related to the accession of this country to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development in 2019. The money will be used for activities of 10 ministries, the National Statistical Institute and the Bulgarian Nuclear Regulatory Agency in accordance with the Road Map on Bulgaria’s actions towards its accession to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development. The membership in this organization is among Bulgaria’s priorities in the foreign policy field and receiving an invitation for accession talks is among the immediate goals of the government, the announcement of the press center of the Bulgarian cabinet reads.
