Premier Boyko Borissov invites Reporters Without Borders to propose measures to guarantee media freedom

Bulgaria’s Premier Boyko Borissov invited representatives of Reporters Without Borders to make proposals for amendments to the Bulgarian legislation that would guarantee media independence and the right of society to be informed in a fair and an accurate manner. It became clear after the meeting of Premier Borissov with the Secretary General of Reporters Without Borders Christophe Deloire and the head of the EU and Balkans desk of Reporters Without Borders Pauline Ades-Mevel. Boyko Borissov emphasized the significant role of the media in the modern society as counterbalance of the government.
