Bulgaria’s bus carriers launch symbolic protest

Bulgaria’s bus carriers launch symbolic protest which will turn into an effective strike in one month, if the problems of the sector remain unsolved. The bus companies voiced discontent from the planned introduction of road toll fees for vehicles weighing over 3.5 tons. They also oppose the introduction of the bonus-malus system. The bus carriers insist on criminalization of illegal transport services and demand access to the EU funding which is limited to municipal companies only.
