At a working meeting in Sofia, representative delegations of the Bulgarian Ministry of Defense and the US Department of Defense reported that agreement was reached on the main points of the Bulgarian-US Military Cooperation Roadmap for 2020-2030, which is currently being prepared. The document will provide guidelines for the development of cooperation in the sphere of defense institutions, the situational map of the maritime space, cybersecurity and modernization of the Bulgarian Armed Forces. A final version of the roadmap is expected to be signed in September 2020.
