Jens Stoltenberg: Romania, Bulgaria and Turkey are valuable partners in the Black Sea

The Black Sea is of strategic importance for NATO and we are constantly assessing the need to further strengthen our presence, NATO’s Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said at a joint press conference with Romania’s Premier Ludovic Orban. We have to remember that three of our member states are littoral states to the Black Sea: Romania, Bulgaria and Turkey. And then we have two close partners. Ukraine and Georgia, which are also Black Sea countries. We are working closely with them, helping them and exercising with them, Jens Stoltenberg further said.
