Sunday schools can apply for financing online

Applications for entering the list of the Bulgarian weekend schools abroad can now be made online, the Bulgarian Ministry of Education and Science announced. A special module for those who wish to receive state funding for studies in Bulgarian language, literature, history and civilizations, geography and economics, was created in the section "Bulgarians Abroad" on the web site of the education ministry. The application deadline is January 31, 2020. Organizations of Bulgarians abroad registered under the legislation of a given country to carry out educational and cultural activities, church municipalities and the Saint George the Zograph monastery in Mount Athos have the right to receive state funding.
