Bulgarian health authorities are monitoring the condition of two Bulgarian women who have recently returned from China and Thailand. as prevention they are housed in infectious wards after flu-like symptoms were detected. They have been tested for coronavirus 2019-nCoV. A man who has returned from China is also under doctors’ care, Health Minister Kiril Ananiev said. All three currently have no symptoms of coronavirus infection. Coordination has been set up and instructions have been given to healthcare facilities on how to respond to suspected illness caused by the new virus, the minister said. An operational working group including all competent institutions has also started functioning.
