The Bulgarian Prosecutor’s Office knows that it is opposed to a gambling organization with millions which will use this money to protect itself in the media, the spokesperson of Bulgaria’s Prosecutor General Siyka Mileva said on occasion of the investigation against businessman Vasil Bozhkov and the State Commission on Gambling. The Prosecutor’s Office denied the accusations that cultural and historical values from Bozhkov’s collection are seized and thrown into plastic bags and sacks. The procedure was legal and was carried out in the presence of some of the best experts in this field. We are witnessing a hybrid attack by the defendant and related persons, Siyka Mileva said. Earlier, Thrace Foundation, which is controlled by Vasil Bozhkov, came up with a declaration that the seizure leads to destruction of ancient cultural and historical heritage.
