Bansko resort has been quarantined over coronavirus

The Bansko resort in Pirin Mountain, southwestern Bulgaria, has been quarantined. The measure took effect at 7pm on Tuesday and its period of action will be two weeks.

The reason is three cases of coronavirus infection confirmed today and related to the functioning of the town as a tourist center. This was announced at an emergency briefing at the Headquarters against the proliferation of Covid-19. It is forbidden to enter and leave Bansko. The foreigners who are there will have 24 hours to leave the town.
