Tourist woes because of coronavirus epidemic

More than 80 British tourists who arrived in Sofia from Bansko ski resort yesterday after quarantine was declared in the town, remain isolated in two hotels in the Bulgarian capital city. It is expected that today they will take off with a special charter flight to the UK, as the flight is provided by the company organizing their trip.

47 Bulgarian tourists were blocked in Morocco because of local measures against the coronavirus outbreak. They managed to fly from Casablanca to Istanbul late last night. From there the Bulgarians will be transported to the Bulgarian border by bus and the consulate in Edirne will assist them in crossing the border checkpoint.
A special plane carrying 116 European citizens, including six Bulgarians, has taken off from Amman, Jordan on a flight to Bucharest. The Bulgarian Embassy there managed to receive permission for the flight from King of Jordan, Abdullah II, after closing the Jordanian airspace.
