2/3 of Bulgarians are afraid of COVID-19 outbreak

62% of Bulgarians are afraid of the spread of the novel coronavirus, a Gallup International study conducted in 28 countries reveals. Worldwide, the figure is 67 percent. 75 percent of Bulgarians are ready to sacrifice some of their human rights, if that will help curb the spread of the virus. Most nations stand behind their governments in the battle with COVID-19. 60% of Bulgarians think that the government is doing more or less good so far and 37% think that it is not coping with the crisis or is completely not capable of coping with it. 

Almost half of those surveyed worldwide believe that the threat of the novel coronavirus may be exaggerated. In Bulgaria, 72 percent of respondents believe the the threat is exaggerated. 
58% of Bulgarians are convinced that the infection was deliberately released. 42% are in the opinion that the worst is yet to come and 29% believe that the worst is already behind us.
