The buffer parking lot at the former airport Uzundzhovo near Haskovo is now open.

The zone was designated for this purpose after a 50-kilometre line of trucks formed at the Bulgaria-Turkey border throughout the week. Sanitary facilities have been provided. After their stay at Uzundzhovo the TIR-trucks will be escorted to Kapitan Andreevo border checkpoint. On Friday the line of trucks dwindled down to around 7 kilometres.
