There have been no discussions over cutting the pension rise planned for July 1, Finance Minister Vladislav Goranov has said. The rise will be 6.7%, as decided by Parliament in December. Currently, there are no planned reductions of salaries paid from the state budget, too. Partial measures may only be taken for some administrations, the Minister said and added it was not obligatory for companies to use the state aid for retaining workers. The government will propose to the parliament to increase the state debt. The central bank and commercial banks have been developing a single mechanism for deferring loans, Minister Goranov also said.
