Bulgarian Parliament temporarily suspends work because of coronavirus-infected MP

At an extraordinary press briefing, National Assembly Speaker Tsveta Karayancheva has announced that the MP from the Movement for Rights and Freedoms party, Hasam Ademov, had given a positive test for a coronavirus infection. For this reason, the work of the Bulgarian parliament needs to be suspended for testing all MPs and the entire parliamentary staff for the virus. Testing will be done today. 

Actions for the future resumption of the Parliament's work will be coordinated with the National Crisis Staff.
