24 new cases of Covid-19, total number in Bulgaria rises to 648

There have been 24 new confirmed cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours in Bulgaria. Thus, the total number of cases reaches 648, which is an increase of 3.8%, according to data from the National Crisis Staff as of this morning. So far, 62 people have recovered, or 9.6%. 26 people died from the coronavirus. 

A comparison of the number of registered, treated and deceased patients shows that the active cases of coronavirus infection in Bulgaria now are 560.
Among the medical staff, 36 people are infected as there have been 3 more cases in the last 24 hours.
The Head of the National Crisis Staff, Gen. Ventsislav Mutafchiyski, announced that he would ask the government to impose stricter measures - compulsory wearing of masks. He again called on everyone to stay home during the upcoming holidays and to follow the restrictions.
