At an extraordinary meeting, the Bulgarian government has approved a no-interest loan program to protect people deprived of the opportunity to work because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Developed by the Bulgarian Development Bank, the program will be backed by 100 million euros (BGN 200 million). Anyone eligible for applying will be able to receive a loan of up to 2 250 euros with a repayment period of up to 5 years and a grace period of 6 to a maximum of 24 months.
